We made this with local hard cider and granny smith apples. Absolutely delish!
I personally think these get better with a little aging. The first day they can be pretty potent. This recipe is as easy as falling off a log. With a food processor, it is a breeze. Pretty tasty too!!
Best holiday hack ever IMHO. Seriously the most forgiving potato recipe. Totally eliminates the stress of timing the potatoes along with all the other dishes as they can stay on warm in the crockpot up to 2 hours after mashing.
